With the vision of employing health care as one of the multiple interventions on the risk taking lifestyle among them, they will receive more support to enhance their rehabilitation.</p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"> </p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify">AIDS Trust Fund renewed and increased support to three Projects for the second term of service 2008-2011 upon previous outstanding performance.</p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"> </p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify">Together We Care Hearts Behind Bars-Health Education Service for the Inmates rendered education to pr isoners under custody of Cor rect ional Depar tment last year . The number of partner-institutions increased to 10 in which 6 were serving youth under 21. The service scaled up coverage and rendered earlier intervention to the target hard to reach risk-taking populations. The total number of attendants was 6,226.</p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"> </p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify">The Hotspots Tracking-Health Education Service for the Drug Abusers extended to Non-ethnic Chinese. Newly developed programmes which included Hepatitis C prevention education and Voluntary Counselling and Testing Service on Hep C. Interventions were rendered by one on one education contact and group education through outreach to drug abusers gathering places or treatment and rehabilitation agencies. There were 12,053 received education and supporting service. The Peer Educator Training for the rehabilitated ex-drug abusers enriched with elements of life education. It attracted increase of referrals from treatment and rehabilitation agencies. There were 55,717 tai lored- harm reduction designed education packs reached the hands of target population.</p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"> </p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify">The Care Mobile Net-Health Education Service for the Sex Workers and Cl ient launched the debut of Voluntary Counsel l ing and Testing Service on ant i -body tes t s including HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis C this year. Social Workers received intensive professional training and built up the Professional Protocol in VCT before implementation. The quality assured input was in return having satisfactory snowballing effect among users. Another newly developed item was Short Message Service through which 17,283 educat ion messages disseminated among target population. There were 33,123 tailored- designed information-education-communication items delivered to the sex industries. Totally 1,740 persons benefited from the outreaching and group education.</p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"> </p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"><font color="#ff00ff" size="5" face="Arial"><strong>Prospective Service in 2009/2010</strong></font></p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify">The Society will keep on making effective use of expertise and network to be the strategic partner of AIDS Trust Fund to support the prevention against this rising epidemic as well as to sustain the holistic care of ex-offenders.</p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"> </p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"><font color="#ff00ff" size="5" face="Arial">Three aspects will be developed in coming year:</font></p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"><font face="Arial">1. Exploring and extending coverage to the population at-risk;</font></p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"><font face="Arial">2. Enhancing the service users to change the risk- taking lifestyle;</font></p></td></tr><tr><td width="700"><p align="justify"><font face="Arial">3.
