Court social workers of CSWS2.0 reach out to arrestees, individuals (and their families) who are suspected of infringing the law, or being taken into prosecution process, to provide comprehensive counseling services in Hong Kong. Our services aim at alleviating their pressure and assisting them to resolve their welfare problems throughout prosecution processes.
The service provides timely emotional support and counselling to arrestees and their families involved in social incidents, assists them to resolve their welfare problems, rebuilds family bond, and connects them with other social services. In addition, the service reconnects them into the society.

Scope of Service
Social workers provide social services online and reach out to provide counselling and welfare assistance for arrestees and their families in different places, e.g. police stations, hospitals, courts, remand centres & prisons, etc.
Group Counselling and Programme:
Group counselling services and programmes are provided to help service users and their families solve problems relating to personal development and growth, family communication, emotional management, etc.
If further assistance is required, social workers will refer service users to other services for follow up. For example, emergency funding, clinical psychology service, employment counselling and training, psychiatric service, etc.

Service users could initiate to obtain the service through direct application or referral made by other organisations.
Service can be terminated upon worker's professional judgment and mutual agreement made with the service users. Service users may terminate service voluntarily at any juncture of the service process.
