SRACP X Hong Kong Jockey Club “COVID-19 Emergency Fund”
“Happy Learning Thro’ Play”
Funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club “COVID-19 Emergency Fund”, The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong (SRACP) is now providing Toy Library Service at EIGHT service units to provide multiple choices of toys, books and learning resources, which are suitable for toddlers and elementary students aged from 4 to 12 from April to June 2020 in response to school suspension due to the outbreak of COVID-19, and with a hope that they would find some joy during the stay at home period.
- To provide learning resources for continuous learning at home especially during class suspension period
- To provide age-appropriate play materials for leisure activities and learning at home
- To encourage and cultivate positive family interaction and communication through play

Pre-school toddlers to elementary students of SRACP’s service users with the background of ex-offender or persons in recovery with low-income or receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme. Service users can apply for the “Toy Library” service in person or by case workers’ referral.

| Each family can borrow a series of reusable materials and expendable materials for 7-14 days. It is hoped that both children and parents can have more interactions through playing toys and family games, reading as well as DIY art handicraft at home especially during class suspension period. |

- Expendable toys#: Crayons, Clay, DIY handicrafts
- Reusable toys*: Boardgames, Lego, Storybooks
# Return of expendable toys is not required
* Reusable toys should be cleaned and sanitized after use
