Peer Support Service (PSS) in Community Psychiatric Service Units is to equip suitable persons who had experienced in mentally challenges to serve as Peer Supporters to offer emotional and recovery support for persons in recovery and their carers to promote mental wellness and positive knowledge on persons in recovery in the community.
- Providing peer support service for persons in recovery
- Increase public awareness and acceptance of person in recovery and promote social inclusion in the community
People in recovery and their family members or carers
- Provide sharing interview session and outreaching visits
- Deliver group sessions/activities and public education programmes
Service Charge: Free of charge; For the fees of programmes, they will be charged according to Agency’s program income guideline.

Service Withdrawal: Service Users may terminate service voluntarily at any juncture of the service process, or Service could be terminated upon assessment of service needs with professional judgement of the service provider. |
